Spectral Engines’ new portable Wireless NIR Device is compact but efficient tool for material inspection

Published 11.2.2016

Spectral Engines presents a new portable Wireless NIR Reflection Device platform that brings spectroscopy to pocket size. The NIR analyser is battery-powered, wireless sensor that can be operated with a computer or mobile devices. It is an easy way to start your application development, and test the performance of the smallest NIR reflection device. The portable NIR device platform can be used as a reference design or it can be private labeled to OEM customers.

We are also proud to present the full Reference Device where the Spectral Module is equipped with optics and robust housing. The NIR Reference Device is a batterypowered, wireless sensor that can be operated with a computer or mobile device. It is the easiest way to start your mobile application development, and test the performance of the Spectral Module technology in your application. The portable NIR Reference Device platform can also be directly private-labeled to OEM customers.

This new wireless IR analyzer platform has been qualified as the finalist in the 2016 Prism Awards. The Prism Awards for Photonics Innovation is a leading international competition that honors the best new photonic products on the market. The Prism Awards, named the “Photonics Oscar” by OptecNet Deutschland, is a celebration of the best of our industry. The winners will be announced at Photonics West 2016 in San Francisco on 17 February 2016.

Place your preorder now to be among the first to enter a new era of spectral sensing! During February you also have a chance to participate in Spectral Engines’ February Draw, where the main prize is a full wireless NIR Reference Device. You can also participate the draw at Spectral Engines’ booth #5269 at Photonics West on Feb 16- 18, 2016.
