Spectral Engines nominated as a finalist of Wärtsilä Marine Mastermind contest

Spectral Engines Oy is nominated as a finalist of Wärtsilä Marine Mastermind contest. Spectral Engines Oy has developed a novel, compact, robust, and inexpensive measurement sensor technology that could serve as a basis for measurement systems capable of measuring the quality and quantity of chemical components in solids, liquids and gases. In marine applications this information can be used, e.g., in real-time monitoring of fuel composition leading into constantly optimized engine operation and in condition monitoring of different related liquids like lubricants.

Wärtsilä got totally 47 submissions from 17 countries. TOP5 finalists were selected by the professional jury. Shortlisted companies will be presented to the jury 18th of February and Wärtsilä Marine Mastermind winner will be annouced at Digital Ship in Copenhagen.
