Mr. Matti Tammi joined Spectral Engines Oy as of 1st September, in the position of Application Engineer. Matti has excellent background of IR spectroscopy thanks to his education (M.Sc. Chem., University of Helsinki) and previous working history (VTT and Gasmet Technologies Group). Matti moved to Spectral Engines from Gasmet where his main responsibilities focused on sales and support for multi-component gas analyzers including training, consultation and data analysis. Matti has studied IR spectroscopy also in Pharmaceutical PAT applications. He possesses significant theoretical and practical knowledge of NIR/MIR spectroscopy and chemometrics but also proven track record of successful B2B sales.
Matti is eagerly looking forward to collaborate with our customer. His expertise will be particularly valuable for process and gas applications. “I saw this as a nice opportunity for me. I have studied and carried out application development for different kinds of optical measurement techniques, but I understand also the difficulties to use these technologies outside the laboratory. Spectral Engines’ MEMS-based sensors present a unique technology platform which enable to bring measurements from the laboratory to the field. I’m excited to work directly with our customer and help them utilize Spectral Engines' sensor technology in their own measurement applications.”
